Clear Bag Policy & Evolv  Weapons Detection System

As part of our continued commitment to the safety and security of our students and staff, our Clear Bag policy and the Evolv weapons detection system will return to our athletic stadiums. Using the Evolv system is part of our broader, multi-layered safety strategy, which includes upgraded surveillance systems, enhanced staff training, and continued collaboration with local law enforcement.

This advanced technology uses low-frequency electromagnetic fields and artificial intelligence to detect potential threats, such as firearms and other weapons of mass destruction. Unlike traditional metal detectors, Evolv can tell the difference between dangerous items and everyday items like phones and keys, reducing the need for secondary screenings and minimizing delays.

What Parents Should Know:

• Entry Points: Look for clearly marked Evolv scanner entrances and follow staff directions.
• Keep Your Items: Phones, keys, and wallets can stay on your person while passing through.
• Secondary Screening: If something is flagged, staff will guide you through a quick follow-up check.
• Arrive Early: To avoid delays, plan to arrive early, especially for high-attendance events.

Cashless Ticket Policy

Norcross High School has implemented a cashless ticket policy for all athletic events.

Fans may purchase tickets online through Norcross High’s GoFan page

Student Attendance Information

• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Only students from Norcross HS, Paul Duke STEM HS, and the visiting team’s high school will be admitted to the game unless they are with a parent or guardian.
• High school students must present a current ID on StudentVue to enter.
