2025 NHS PBIS PROGRAM RECOGINIZED BY GA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

Norcross High School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) for their Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program for the 2024-2025 school year. PBIS is an evidence-based, data-driven framework proven to reduce disciplinary incidents, increase a school’s sense of safety, and support improved academic outcomes. It guides the selection, integration, and implementation of the best evidence-based behavioral practices for improving student behavior outcomes. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for those students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
This recognition reflects the hard work, commitment, and intentional focus that our teachers and staff have placed on building a positive school culture and climate.
