Counseling

The Counselors at Norcross High School work with students one-on-one, through classroom guidance, and in small groups. Students seek services for a host of issues, both psychosocial and educational in nature. A counselor's caseload is determined by the student's last name and grade level.

The mission of Norcross High School Counseling Department is to support and assist all students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and behavior to thrive in their current and post-secondary pursuits. We provide a comprehensive, data driven program that addresses academic, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development needs of our diverse student population. The counseling staff works closely with students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members to ensure that all students receive an equitable, world-class education. We encourage students to be intrinsically motivated, self-disciplined, empathic beings, and life-long learners.
